Description


Alpha® PV Ready Ribbon™ is manufactured using the latest proprietary flux chemistry & solder tinning technology.
Leveraging the decades of solder materials experience that Alpha® acquired in the Global PCB assembly market, offers our formulation scientists a fresh and unique insight into the demands of the PV module assembly process.
Alpha® Resilient flux is applied to standard solder coated copper ribbon and delivered on standard spools consistent with industry standard requirements. 
Alpha® PV Ready Ribbon™ resilient flux is compatible with a wide variety of solder types, including SnPbAg, SnPb, SnAg and low temperature SnBi. Resilient flux coated ribbon is designed for compatibility with popular tabber-stringer equipment.  Ground breaking shelf life provides significant manufacturing flexibility

Innovative Aspect


A major issue for most PV assemblers is the amount of time spent on maintenance of the fluxing area in their tabbing and stringing process. This can lead to downtime of as much as 1-hour in an 8-hour shift. The resilient flux technology applied to Alpha® PV Ready Ribbon™ eliminates the need for a separate fluxing process, thereby eliminating the need for this type of costly maintenance.
